Why was LockSocket® created?
LockSocket® was born from a simple everyday problem—constantly searching for missing phone chargers. After finding no suitable solution on the market, we designed a lock specifically for genuine Apple chargers, eventually expanding to other OEM chargers.

What is LockSocket® used for?
LockSocket® securely fastens charger plugs and charging cables to your wall outlet, helping prevent theft, reduce clutter, and protect chargers from being accidentally unplugged. It also helps keep charging setups safer around curious children and pets.
Which chargers are compatible with LockSocket®?
LockSocket® offers models designed for a variety of OEM chargers, including Apple USB-C fast chargers, Samsung and Android chargers, as well as selected 2-prong and 3-prong power adapters. Please refer to each product page for specific compatibility details.
Does the LockSocket® secure the charging cable too?
Yes. LockSocket® is designed to securely hold both the charger block and the charging cable, helping keep your charging setup organized while preventing accidental unplugging or removal.
Can I request a custom LockSocket® for a different charger?
Yes. We offer custom solutions for select chargers. If you need a LockSocket® for a charger not currently listed, please contact us at shaant@locksocket.com to discuss your requirements.
Does LockSocket® work with different outlet wall plates?
Yes. LockSocket® is designed to fit both standard outlet wall plates and Decora-style wall plates for a secure and clean installation.
Can I still use the second outlet?
In most cases, yes. LockSocket® is designed to leave the adjacent outlet accessible. However, very large power adapters or oversized AC plugs may partially block the second outlet depending on their size.
How do I install LockSocket®?
Installation is quick and straightforward. Simply position the LockSocket®, secure it using the included security screw, and tighten it with the supplied Allen key. No zip ties or special tools are required.
What material is LockSocket® made from?
LockSocket® is manufactured from high-quality, fire-resistant ABS plastic (CYCOLAC® FR15U-NA1000), providing excellent durability, strength, and heat resistance for everyday use.
Will LockSocket® affect charging performance?
No. When installed correctly, LockSocket® securely holds your charger in place without affecting its normal charging performance.
Can I reuse my LockSocket®?
Depending on the product model and installation method, many LockSocket® products can be removed and reused. Please refer to the instructions included with your specific product for guidance.
